日本に帰省して、今日ハワイに戻りました。秋の味覚と紅葉を楽しみました。ふるさと武庫川の紅葉も綺麗でしたし、御堂筋の銀杏並木も素敵でした。

今日は、長屋メンバーのなほさんが、日本から来ました。

カレンさんのお庭のブーゲンビリアで、手作りレイをプレゼント。
木からお花を取って繋げるのに３時間かかったそうです。

カレンさんが、日本語で、ご自分の小話を語っています。

Last week I took my 10yr old son  for an adventure up to the top of Mauna Kea and it sure was beautiful. As far as the eye could see were clouds and blue sky , only the peak of the other volcano could be seen on the horizon in the distance. It was so very cold at the summit and apparantly the temperature dropped to about freezing by night time. I felt a bit sick from elevation sickness when we ascended to the top and with only astronomy research centers in egg shaped domes and black rocks, it looked like what I imagine a journey on the moon would be like. Apparantly the astronoughts did practise on top of this very mountain to practise for their journey to the moon!

ついこの前１１月が始まったと思ったら、
えっ？！！　もう終わりかい！！！Σ（￣□￣；）
早いよ、１１月やぁ〜〜い。
ようやく一段落しました。

１１月は…忙しかったよ。私なりに。
怒涛でした。お疲れ自分。がんばったよ。
さて力抜けて体調崩しそうやから、気をつけましょ。

そして師走へ。
１２月のカレンダーはまだ予定のない空白の日がある。
ホッと一安心ですじゃ。とりあえず住みかをきれいにしなきゃ（汗）

今日は大学サークルの先輩の結婚式でした。
大学の頃からいろいろお世話になってます。
その先輩とは仲良く歌ったり、合コンも行ったり、
相談もケンカもしたり…と結構濃厚にぶつかってきた方です。うれしい。

何より、先輩の穏やかで幸せそうな顔がうれしい。
姿見て3秒で泣きました。よかったよぉ（TｓT）うれしいよぉ。

さて、今回もウェルカムボードを描かせていただきました。
ハワイで挙式してきたお二人独特のボードになっておりま〜す。
ハイビスカス描くの初めてやった〜。ずっとお幸せに。

lately, i’ve been so busy with work that i haven’t had time to check out the stores. (also, i avoid the crazy black friday shopping crowd).
new york is pretty well-known for their fantastic creativity with their holiday windows. i’m looking forward to seeing what each store came up with this year.
hopefully, i’ll be able to take a quick peek at some of my favorite stores this week and take some pictures, but until then here is part of a display at one of my favorite stores, Anthropologie at the Rockefeller Center. this was taken earlier this year. i loved the creativity and humor! i also appreciated the dynamic size and combination of the man-made garbage with nature’s creatures.
