My favorite sport is surfing. I started surfing when I was 12 years old. My father surfs and taught me how to. I love jumping in the water and enjoying a sunny day with my family friends. My home surf spot is Kewalos, which is right next to Ala Moana Beach Park. It has fun waves and it is not as crowded as many other surf spots on the South Shore. Surfing is a great sport and unlike any other. Every wave is different and every ride unique. That is why you can never get enough. It is a thrill and the ocean a mystery. Surfing is a sport you must try for yourself.

I have just returned home to Hawaii. The last 2 and a half months and have been traveling around the world. I finished my semester of college in California and headed off to Florida for a vacation. From Florida I sailed down to the Caribbean with my boyfriend Zach and his family. There we swam, fished, and enjoyed the ocean. Eating fresh fish each night that we had caught that day. Then from the Caribbean I headed home and met up with my family and Surfing The Nations. Surfing The Nations is a Christian surf group my father started. After a week at home I head of to Sri Lanka with group of 18 people from Surfing The Nations. We were there for month help the local people by bring clothes, toys, basic medical care, and the hope of Christ. From there we head over to Bali, Indonesia. Continuing to share and love on the people and surfing when the waves were good. Now I am back in Hawaii. Working with Surfing The Nations full time. I love surfing and traveling the world.

I have three older sisters. At my high school graduation, my parents and two of my older sisters, Christy and Cari were supposed to attend. Unfortunately, my oldest sister, Carla, was married and living in Florida. As we were leaving the house two or three hours beforehand, my second oldest sister, Christy, said, "I have a present, but I kept it a secret so that it would be a surprise." I couln’t imagine at all what that present could be. Christy said, "This is your graduation present!" and brought my oldest sister, Carla, before me. Carla was decorated prettily with a red ribbon. Carla had come all the way from Florida that day and was hiding somewhere in the house. We all cried as we hugged each other. Then we all went to the graduation ceremony. It was a very happy graduation.
 
 
卒業式のプレゼント

　私には、３人の姉がいます。高校の卒業式には、両親、そして、２人の姉、クリスティーとカリーが出席してくれることになっていました。あいにく、一番上の姉、カーラは結婚して、フロリダに住んでいたからです。みんなで家を出る、２、３時間前、２番目の姉、クリスティーが、「プレゼントがあるの、でも、びっくりさせるため、秘密にしていたのよ。」と言いました。私は、プレゼントが何か、まったく想像できませんでした。、クリスティーは、「これが卒業式のプレゼントよ！」と、私の目の前に、一番上の姉、カーラを連れてきました。カーラは、赤いリボンで美しく飾り付けされていました。その日、カーラは、遠くフロリダからハワイに戻ってきて、家のどこかに隠れていたのでした。みんなで泣きながら抱き合いました。そして、家族全員で卒業式に出席しました。とても幸せな卒業式でした。
　
　
そつぎょうしきのプレゼント

　わたし には、さんにん の あね が います。　こうこう の そつぎょう しき には、りょうしん、そして、ふたり の あね、クリスティー と キャリー が しゅっせきしてくれる こと になっていました。　あいにく、いちばん うえ の あね、カーラ はけっこん して、フロリダ に すんでいたからです。　みんな で いえ を でる、 に、さん じかん まえ、にばんめ の あね、クリスティー が、 「プレゼント があるの、でも、びっくり させる ため、ひみつ に していたのよ。」 と いいました。　わたし は、プレゼント が なに か、まったく そうぞう できませんでした。　クリスティー は、「これ が そつぎょう しき の プレゼント よ！」 と、わたし のめのまえ に、いちばん うえ の あね、カーラ を つれてきました。　カーラ は、あかい リボン で うつくしく かざりつけ されて いました。　そのひ、カーラは、とおく フロリダ から ハワイ に もどって きて、いえ の どこか に かくれていたのでした。　みんな で なき ながら だきあいました。　そして、かぞく ぜんいん でそつぎょう しき に しゅっせき しました。　とても しあわせな そつぎょう　しきでした。
